This iconic image of the series, stimulates the questions about the displacement of a small British Snail. The wild landscapes of Britian are being reduced to such an extent as to force species into hostile environments, with high chemical content, overly dry soil that can no longer hold moisture due to the lack over ground cover vegetation.
Art has a way of diversifying messages of nature. Small things whose relivance seem so remote as to be percieved as useless that their existance seem to have become obselete. Escape by displacement to continue survival. Does this mean that creatures are no longer worthy of human approval?
Mosses are small, non-vascular flowerless plants that typically form dense green clumps or mats, often in damp or shady locations. They are particularly important to invertibrates providing them with moisture protection and food material
