Plastic is resistance to decomposing, It is assumed that all thing will natural biodegrade. This image was made from the buried remains of a energy drink - it was noted back in 2018. However when working on this project I returned to the site and dug around and found the same item with very little change. This series of defined photographic images details and shows the meaning of human impact in the natural environment and how insects, mosses and leaves have to compete against the problem for survival.
